Quick Weight Loss with Exercise and A Little Determination

This is an article about how to achieve quick weight loss with exercise. It is possible. But I would not necessarily say it is easy. If you are the type of person who can provide a short but intense burst of energy on a daily basis, then this may be a solution for you. Is it as simple as a weight loss pill? Of course not. But it is probably healthier, as long as you don’t overdo it in the initial stages.

The first thing we need to think about is the concept of burning calories. The logic goes that if you burn more calories than you consume in any given day then you will have lost weight. So what we want to aim for is a short but intense group of exercises to lose weight. If we start out on the more moderate side than this would qualify most likely as what I like to call “safe weight loss”. Safety is always of utmost importance and anytime you are putting new strains on your body you have to be a bit careful. Chances are you will be fine. But especially for those of you who have gone a long time without any real exercise, and have maybe let your fat grow in patterns of bad eating behavior, I definitely caution you to take it on the slow side for the first week or two. Go easy on your self. Aim for long term success and discipline and regularity. The tortoise wins the race. The hare falls asleep by the side of the road (and becomes an even fatter hare).

So as you can see, there still is a long term view that must be brought to bear even on a path to quick weight loss with exercise. This is the view or attitude that will win out (paradoxically) quicker than any other. And this is actually the easy weight loss method although it may not appear to be so until you are well into the practice of it.

I suggest starting each brief exercise period with a series of stretches. Make sure you hit your neck, arms, shoulders, mid-section, and all of your legs. Even your feet should be stretched, as well as your fingers. This provides the basis for all successful weight control exercises to come.

Once you have stretched then it is time to begin the quick, down, dirty, and intense regime of movements. To a certain degree it doesn’t even matter what you do here. What does matter is that it burns a lot of calories. Since we are only going to be doing this for a short time, it will take very strenuous exercise to be successful.

Respect Your Body's Capabilities

In order to achieve quick weight loss with exercise, you’ve got to really push yourself to the limit while respecting the current boundaries of your body’s capabilities. (It will “speak” to you and let you know when you may be pushing it too hard for it to be considered “safe weight loss” anymore.) Listen to you body and form a yogic union of pressure and release with it. Each day it will open up to you more and more and will “magically” give you the room to continually keep burning off those calories. As long as you respect this balance and practice day in and day out, you will see weight loss results much quicker than you ever could’ve realistically expected. You almost have to approach weight loss with a Taoist’s eye to things. Be sensitive and wise and you will be successful. And like I said, this should happen a lot quicker than you ever could have anticipated. That is the basic gist of this article. The mental aspect of these things cannot be ignored.

Find A Fun Way to Lose Weight

Finally I would say to you that if at all possible you should find a fun way to lose weight. The more fun you are having, the more likely you will be to experience the weight loss exercises as something that you look forward to and want to do rather than something that you dread, which makes you anxious to even think about, and which you ultimately abandon and go back to your old ways. Then the belly will grow back! The legs will plump up. The arms will get flabby… You get the point. We don’t want that do we? Just get it through your head that it’s only hard because you think it’s hard. I’m not trying to be mean; only trying to help, give you what you want: a simple method and solution of quick weight loss with exercise. It is possible. In fact, it is right around the corner. Oh, and by the way: don’t forget to do that stretching. It will make the entire workout that much easier.
